DJ's Wanted - Funky/Latin/Progressive/Soul/Funk/House...
DJ's wanted to audition for upcoming club nights in the North. We have run this night extensively in the London area and want to bring it to Teesside, Leeds and Newcastle. Must be experienced, no first timers! This is a serious event!

I have been djing for around 3 years now and am based in Newcastle. I play mainly house and my style is deep,funky and techy but interesting- I like
to make my sets sound different by using tracks from around the world. I
have travelled alot and the music I listen to when Im abroad influences what
I put in my sets. I have dj'ed alot in
Newcastle and played to crowds
of up to 800 people. I have played mostly in up-market bars like Stereo for
example (where Hed Kandi has a weekly residence) and also Krash, Ikon, envy, Woodtcott Dance Festival in Hampshire and The Ice Factory in Perth.I am very versatile and technically perfect.I

Hi.
Im a 25 year old DJ from the outskirts of London, I like to play Soul, Funk, Disco (rare NOT commercial), Boogie, Jazz Funk, Rare Groove and Deep Jazzy Funky House and have well over 5000 12"s & LPs (4000+ being pre '86. If im honest Im really an old school man but got into the House scene about 6 years ago as it is similar to Disco, I came about mixing the two together after hearing Dimitri From Paris's After The Playboy Mansion LP's and havent looked back since. I have had many nights in clubs and bars and even internet radio shows doing these styles and would love to make it a more regular thing.

Hiya.
I would like to know a little bit about the proposed night in Newcastle. Ive been playing in Sunderland for the last 4 years. Playing Deep / Soulful and Funky house, in the cities best bars (purple/ttonic) and doing my own nights (substance/Ink), theyve all been very successful, but I'm now looking to play in newcastle which is just along the road. I would be grateful if you could get in touch to give me some more info if interested. cheers
