The attempt, which will establish the record of the most spray tans in one hour, will form part of a whole day of fundraising for the Meningitis Research Foundation. Luisa Berger, Managing Director of Utopia Tanning and Beauty Salon, says "What a fantastic way to look great for the Christmas party season, and all for an incredibly good cause! Everyone who participates in our attempt will receive a gift-bag of goodies as a thank you from Utopia, as well as the knowledge that they're a part of history."

To join in this incredible event, participants need to be at the Utopia salon, near Harborne swimming baths, from 6pm on Thursday 7th December.

ART EXHIBITION
The all-new 'Letthemhang' art show will feature live screen printing of t-shirts and prints signed by the artists themselves. New canvas blocks start from £40. Proceeds to benefit Cherry D.

MUSIC
Blowpop, Bristol's legendary night of leftfield beats, breaks and electronica, arrives at Thread! Two rooms of beats from the infamous residents who include John Stapleton (Grand Slam), Stereo 8 (Finger Lickin), and Doctor Moody (Red Eye).

Proceeds from the event will be divided between SBLI and the Butterwick Children's Hospice.

The event
Going on from 7pm till 1am, we have an evening full of entertainment including Comedy Store regular, Kevin Sheppard, two live bands and a DJ playing some of the best music around. We will also be having a raffle and an auction with some fantastic prizes including a luxury stay in a hotel in Westminster, £100 gift voucher for a salon and much much more.

The cause
BetaArts, a newly formed community arts charity organisation are raising funds to go to Brazil to work in a local Orphanage supporting the work that is already being done. So many children in this area are not given the opportunities that we take for granted, without parents or any one to support them very few have any sort of education. BetaArts also works very closely with disenfranchised networks within the London area offering support and help to those who need it.

16th December, 7pm. 1st Band on at 8pm

Alan Devonshire's Hampton visit, bringing ex Rebels favourites Ian Hodges and Glen Harris back to play against Slough for the first time. Usually a tasty match, with all the more reason to be so this time.

I've been having lessons myself for over 10 years and am of grade 8 standard. I have played in various ensembles and groups. I feel confident to teach a beginner of any age, and have lots of experience with children. I also offer french / german language tuition and babysitting / childminding. Reasonable rates.

I'm offering French lessons for adult learners. All levels are welcome, including those eager to learn conversational French and who can't wait to find the right words.

Various resources: French music, documentaries, and French T.V Programs. Enthusiasm is all you need. Fees to suit affordability.
